You may be hearing a lot about climate change in your classes, online, and in the news.  Societies around the world have become very concerned about this global problem.  This web module will describe some of the beliefs scientists hold about the causes and solutions to climate change.  It will also discuss how some societies have created new policies designed to solve climate change.  For an environmental sociologist attempting to help prevent climate change from happening, these new policies are ways in which societies are changing their norms.  Finally, we will discuss how you are contributing to climate change and what you can do to reduce your contribution.
